Insomnia Line

A podcast that opens up an insomnia hotline, talking about why they are having trouble falling asleep and what they are thinking about.

LISTENER: I'm not totally sure why I'm awake.
LULU: All these people just leaning into their weird thoughts.
LISTENER: So you imagine you have a building which is mushrooming with mushrooms. Literally in the morning when you wake up,LISTENER: instead of plucking your, you know, fruits from the garden, you're actually plucking mushrooms from your building. It's—it's just great to think that maybe one day we can have a building which will give us food.

LULU: Throughout the whole night, that line between reality and fantasy was thin.
LISTENER: Hi, my name is Kendra. I'm calling from Denver, Colorado,
LISTENER: and I can't sleep because I miss my mom. She passed away earlier this year, and I miss her every single day. LISTENER: I am currently walking circles around my apartment.

LISTENER: I can hear the fans spinning.LISTENER: I can hear the clock ticking.LISTENER: All the days are just blending together right now. Just swimming through time soup.
